Title: Senior Finance Manager / FP&A
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid)
Compensation: $140,000-$180,000 + bonus potential

Position Overview

This Senior Finance Manager role serves as the CFO's primary financial partner and plays a critical role in capital planning, financial modeling, compliance support, and executive-level reporting. The position owns the FP&A function and works closely with Operations, General Managers, and senior leadership in a regulated, capital-intensive environment.

This is a senior individual-contributor role requiring comfort with ambiguity, limited direction, and building financial frameworks from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead capital expenditure (CapEx) planning, tracking, and financial modeling
* Translate operational CapEx initiatives into financially compliant plans
* Partner closely with VP of Operations and site General Managers
* Develop advanced financial models and scenario analysis
* Prepare executive and Board-level reporting deliverables
* Support regulatory compliance and audit readiness related to capital programs
* Provide ad-hoc analysis for senior leadership
* Improve finance processes, controls, and scalability

Qualifications

* 6-10+ years of progressive finance or FP&A experience
* Deep CapEx planning and modeling expertise
* Strong Excel skills (true financial analytics required)
* Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI
* Comfortable working with limited structure and high ambiguity
* Strong executive presence and communication skills

Preferred

* Utility, infrastructure, energy, or regulated industry experience
* Private equity-backed environment exposure
* ERP experience (Sage Intacct or similar)
